In October 2008 the railway took delivery of a
new Isle of Man Caledonia locomotive and a rake of IoM 4 wheel coaches. |

| Railcar Undergoes Changes | |
|
The lines recently built railcar failed its
acceptance trials due to repeated derailing on the railways tight curves.
The railcar has since been adapted and and the wheelbase shortened.
Acceptance trials were successfully completed on 26 October 2008.
Pictured below is the railcar before and after the transformation. The
revised railcar is now awaiting final finishing/painting. |
